Case Study

Winchcombe Park

Winchcombe Town Council had been working for years on a new public park development for the town. After working tirelessly on fund raising, public consultation, design and achieving  planning approval the Town Council needed a landscape architecture practice who could oversee the delivery of the park.

We were appointed at tender stage as Principal Designer. We successfully tendered the project, appointed the landscape contractor and oversaw the works on site including administering the contract.

This was a major development for Winchcombe, costing in the region of £0.85 million. The park includes play equipment, a multi-use games area (MUGA), skate park, car park, paths, street furniture, lighting, and cctv.

The park was completed and opened to the public in March 2022 and is a public space that the town can be truly proud of. The park is beautiful, functional and practical, incorporating features that enhance the well-being of residents and visitors.  The project has been met with enthusiastic feedback from residents and has become a true community asset.
